What to expect:
It takes about 6 cycles of growth (which is about 6 sessions) to get your hair all into the same growth pattern. After they are all in the same cycle you can plan on getting sugar'd every 30-50 days. You will notice a vast amount of hair not regrowing and the hair that is coming back to be very fine. Some areas of the body respond even quicker than explained above. Sugaring is usually double the cost of waxing, because of the possibility of permanency. It will also be done less frequently compared to waxing.

Do I have dominate hair growth?:
Dominate hair can be caused by a number of things. It doesn't mean that your hair will not remove or reduce in amount, it just means it might take longer than the normal averages. This hair is usually described and course dark hair in abnormal areas. Also most men have dominate hair as their chest and back hair.
Some people suffering from abnormal hair growth might include: women suffering from Poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), Pre through Post Menopausal women, any person suffering from hormonal imbalances and some genetic dispositions to abnormal hair growth.
Unlike shaving- sugaring will decrease the size of the hair and does not need to be done daily. Shaving often makes the hair look thicker and you have to deal with the unfortunate "shadowing effect". You will be able to go weeks in between sugaring appointments.

How to prepare for your appointment:
 Please make sure your hair, for the first appointment, is close to 1/4 inch of hair growth (future appointments the hair may be shorter).
 If your hair is too long- there is an extra fee of $15 to have your hair trimmed properly.
Exfoliate with a glove or loofah sponge well the day before your appointment.
DO NOT apply lotions or oils the day of your appointment.
